Gregg Giboney, who manages the Covestor Dividend & Growth portfolio, was recently a guest on Jay Cruz’s News at 7 finance show.
Giboney discussed the impact of last year’s tax changes on dividend stocks. He also advised investors to do their homework when sizing up dividend stock investments: “You want to make sure you are dealing with good cash flow companies with healthy balance sheets.” He also pointed out that dividend stock investing has outperformed the S&P 500 Index over long periods of time.
