Silver volatility reminiscent of Hunt brother manipulation in the ’80s (SLV)

Investors in silver (NYSE: SLV) should be forgiven for being irritable – their investment has been a veritable roller coaster of late, reaching multi-decade highs before a stunning collapse last week. The Wall Street Journal has been covering the story, and looking back to the last time silver was this volatile – when the Hunt brothers were cornering the worldwide market in the early 1980s.
