Scott Rothbort

LakeView Asset Management is a registered investment adviser based in Millburn, New Jersey. We offer equity, fixed income and proprietary long/short strategies and seek to generate long-term returns. Scott Rothbort is the Founder and President of LakeView. He is also an instructor at Seton Hall University's Stillman School of Business, a contributor to TheStreet.com and a frequent guest on Fox Businsess Network, Bloomberg Radio, Bloomberg Television, and CNBC. Prior to founding LakeView in 2002, Scott managed and coordinated the secured funding and collateral management efforts for the Global Capital Markets Group at Merrill Lynch. He also worked as Director of the Merrill Lynch Global Equity Swaps business. Prior to that, he worked for County Nat West Securities and Morgan Stanley, where he had international assignments in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London. Scott has an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business of New York University and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
