Covestor model manager Brad Pappas of Rocky Mountain Humane Investing was recently a guest on the radio show at HealthyLife.net’s News @ 7. Pappas manages Covestor’s RMHI Evergreen portfolio, which takes a value/momentum based quantitative approach to equity selection.
On the show, Brad discusses his unique approach to socially responsible investing, in particular the importance of remaining ‘intellectually agnostic’ and open to asset classes such as foreign currencies and metals during periods of crisis. It’s more important to try to preserve value in clients’ accounts during these times, he believes, then to turn back to the traditional socially responsible investing sectors when things turn around.
