Surprises do not cease. And this time round it’s not even about political moves.
Like this viral photo1 of two of the most talked about soccer sensations in recent days. What are the odds, really?!
Like the amount of money2 that is involved in an event of this scale.
Like the Super Bowl style half-time extravaganza that attracted a fair share of several things, ranging from eyeballs to criticism3, in one shot.
Like the way some countries4 defied history, geography and statistics to win accolades in this soccer war-of-wars that just culminated.
Or like the way the World Cup played out in all its glory with blood, tears and sweat, in all shades of jerseys and flags. And for those few days, all worldly worries were parked aside as one revelled in the rivalries and cheered for the champions.
The authorities had invested in years of financial and logistical planning. The countries that tasted success had invested in their sporting institutions and players. The teams. coaches and players had invested in themselves, and in each other. The results of investing showed over a few days but the discipline and consistency that went in predated this actual event, and would have taken years to build. As any investor knows.
The diversity of play and players on display was then a testament to social justice, and responsible management. Terms like value, quality and growth got discussed in a variety of contexts in every other performance analysis. Different games highlighted a different take on global equity, and on buzzwords like strategy and tactics.
Little surprise then that we have portfolios in all these categories, and more!
Now that the world cup is over, why not take time to relive it with a look at the impressive array of portfolios on offer at Interactive Advisors? There is something for every discerning investor. Signup is easy too.
So what are you waiting for?
