At Covestor, we believe in our manager’s ability to outperform their benchmark. If you remain committed to active management and to your Wealthfront manager, we invite you to join our platform to continue following his moves in real time.

We’ve made the transition process as seamless as possible for you. It should take about 5 minutes and you should feel free to call Bhargav, our Head of Client Services, at 866-825-3005 x703 and ask for assistance. We are willing to work with each individual client to ensure we minimize the impact of transaction costs incurred during the transfer process.

To continue following your Wealthfront manager at Covestor, please follow these steps:

  1. Click here to become a Covestor client (3-5 min sign up process)
  2. After completion of the Covestor client agreement, do not open a new brokerage account. Instead, fill out this Change of Adviser Form. Our IB Account Number for New Financial Adviser is “F774752” and the Name of New Financial Adviser is “Covestor Limited”. Fax to IB per the instructions on the form.
  3. Give our Head of Client Services a call (866-825-3005 x703) to discuss how we can minimize the impact of transaction costs for you during this transfer.

That’s it! In most cases you won’t have to sell your positions and incur tax consequences. It’ll be like you didn’t skip a beat.
